Pilates met Efy is an initiative of a Greek woman living in Ghent. After many years of practicing Pilates while working in the architecture world, Efy decided to make a switch to the bright side.
Offering affordable pilates classes in small groups and one to one for people of all ages and physical condition! Classes provide a safe, healthy and fun environment for you to build up a stronger body where it matters.
Classes are given in small groups on the mat at the kinesiotherapist practice 'Kine in Form' at Coupure Rechts 164b, 9000 in Ghent, and the 'Pius X Basisschool' at Bredenakkerstraat 31, 9070 in Destelbergen, and one to one with Pilates equipment at own space in Destelbergen.
There are classes that you can follow with special attention to people with hypermobility at Kine in Form.
We will guide you through your Pilates journey and help you achieve your goals.

Efy Papathanasiou
Eftychia (Efy) Papathanasiou is the founder of Pilates met Efy.
After 10 years of Pilates training, Efy followed the education program of True Pilates in Antwerp and got her instructor certification on the classic method of Joseph Pilates.
She has observed and taught at Y-pilates with reknown senior Pilates instructor Yves De Moor.
Her own education doesn't stop there as she keeps following teacher training programs and workshops through the year.
Her wish is to help people achieve their goals while enjoying a personal, attention-to-detail program in small groups.
Her passion for Pilates, dedication and connection to her clients is what makes the difference.
